| Our mission is to "HELP EL PASO HELP THEIR PETS!" and our vision is to be the best and friendliest Veterinary Clinic in the community. As an associate veterinarian with our clinics you will gain a variety of experiences so new graduates and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to apply. In El Paso, there are currently about 18,000 dogs and cats that are euthanized each year as a consequence of our community’s pet overpopulation problem. It is our responsibility to educate our clients and do our part to minimize this number. El Paso is a place where you can truly make a difference. Our associate veterinarians may work in our mobile practice, Paws N’ Hooves Mobile Veterinary Services, where we perform low-cost services throughout El Paso. Our mobile clinic is a completely transformed RV that includes 2 exam rooms, a surgery room, kennels, digital radiographs, and a laboratory. With the limited space on the mobile you will work closely with 2-3 technicians Tuesdays-Saturdays at a different location each day, but the same locations each week. With our smaller second mobile, we participate in in charity spay and neuter clinics around El Paso and Southern New Mexico. |
For a more traditional setting, our mixed animal veterinarians may work in our main clinic, Mesa Veterinary Clinic. Here we perform full hospitalization, some orthopedic surgeries, and see small, large, and exotic pets. At this clinic, we have a full reception and technician staff, along with a management team. There are two large exam rooms for patients, a laboratory, an x-ray room, surgery room, boarding kennels, isolation kennels, and post-op kennels. In 2018, we will be moving into a brand-new building and transitioning to a 24-hour clinic.
For those who are looking for a different experience we also have a veterinarian truck that is used 1-2 times per week for farm and home visits. These are scheduled for those people in our community who are unable to bring their pets to us. These visits are performed by one of our associate veterinarians with the assistance of one technician.
To be successful, we know you must love where you live. We encourage all serious applicants to come for a working interview. If you like amazing food, lots of sun, warm weather, and beautiful mountains, El Paso is the place for you! Rated one of the safest cities in the country, with low cost of living and entertainment ranges from stock car races and rodeos to symphony and theater! There is something for everyone! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jll-E06CSs.
