Associate Veterinarian

VCA Portsmouth Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Portsmouth, VA!

VCA Portsmouth is a General Practice that has been serving our community for over 25 years! We are like family to each other and have team members who've been with us for years! Our hospital is located right off the interstate and near a shopping plaza, only 25 miles from VA Beach oceanfront!

We have digital radiology, including dental, 4 exam rooms, 1 surgical suite, 1 designated dental wet table.  Quiet and separate Recovery and iso areas, a separate building for luxury dog boarding and cat boarding suites in a separate upstairs room. We also have in house lab equipment (Abaxis),  IV pump, EKG, oxygen tank, Pulse Oximeter, Tonopen, BP monitor, warming units. Our Medical Director treats exotics as well as companion animals! We do routine spays, neuters, dentals, exploratories, select amputations (no ortho specialist), entropions, and mass removals.
