Job Description:
We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team at VCA Smoketown Animal Hospital just outside of Lancaster, PA! At our top-notch, state of the art medical facility, we treat dogs, cats, and pocket pets. Our experienced and knowledgeable medical team is fully trained on the latest veterinary medicine and procedures, ensuring our patients receive the best veterinary care in the industry. At VCA Smoketown Animal Hospital we provide primary care, specialty surgery, diagnostic ultrasounds, physical rehabilitation, cardiology, and dental specialty services for a population of approximately 60,000 people. Our hospital: - State of the art building includes nine exam rooms, a treatment area, three surgery suites, dental suite, a rehab department, grooming and boarding. We also offer puppy and dog training classes for the surrounding community.
- In-house laboratory capabilities for selected blood chemistries, urinalysis and sediments, PCV, TP, Fe-leuk, and various ELISA tests run by technicians. We use Antech laboratories for all other diagnostics.

- MyVCA app available to clients to improve education, compliance and communication
- My Scheduler app for doctors to view their schedule from home and communicate with clients via a virtual number
