Associate Veterinarian

Looking to jumpstart your career with a hands-on approach to surgery and medicine instead of watching from the sidelines? Garrison Animal Hospital is looking for a full time or part time associate veterinarian to join our two doctor team in the Brainerd Lakes area.  Our practice is primarily small animal, with the addition of small ruminant, camelid, exotics and wildlife.  Interest in these areas is a plus; experience is not necessary.  We promote strong mentoring relationships throughout our employee base and have a close-knit staff.  Our schedule is fast-paced and fluid.  We have the experience and skills to follow thru on 99% of surgical and medicine needs for our clients; referral happens only for true specialty cases.  The business is well-established and respected in the area.  We need a veterinarian who is looking for a long term position in a rural, small town community where they can still practice quality medicine.  A solid work ethic, commitment to client service, and good sense of humor are a must to connect with our devoted and widely varied clientele.  We are well-equipped with anesthetic monitoring and cautery, ultrasound, digital radiology and dental x-ray, full in-house lab and pharmacy, and most importantly a well-trained staff.  Due to our commitment to our patients and clients, rotating on-call is included in this position.  The schedule would include a four day work week and rotating Saturday mornings.  Salary would include base plus production and a competitive benefit package.
