Experienced Veterinarian for extraordinary AAHA privately owned progressive, 4 doctor small animal hospital located near Danbury, CT and next to beautiful Candlewood Lake.  Keeping our staff, clients, and pets safe during COVID-19 is a top priority.  To make your life easier, we do a virtual interview combined with a virtual tour of our hospital to save you time, assure confidentiality, and give you a real sense of who we really are. Brookfield Animal Hospital staff does their work so you can concentration on being a veterinarian and providing great medical care for our clients.  Our 8,800 sq ft facility is well equipped with Toshiba Ultrasound, digital whole body, and dental x-ray, full in-house lab, IDEXX, therapeutic laser, heated ICU cages, high-speed dental drill.  Our area has many activities including skiing, boating, and hiking.  NYC is just an hour away.

Why is our practice special?

We have four highly trained and experienced lead veterinarians plus 4 RVTs and 2 more almost certified and  5 assistants.  We have each other’s backs and are friends on and off the job.  Our culture is easy going yet busy. We enjoy having fun and laughing.

Our veterinarians have a wide variety of expertise including:

-ultrasound including abdominal and cardiac,

-soft tissue surgery,

-internal medicine,

We have state of the art facilities including:

-ultrasound,

-therapeutic laser,

-digital whole body and dental x-ray,

-in-house lab.- IDEXX,

-flexible hours (30-36 hrs/week)

What we are looking for is a veterinarian who:

- is an excellent communicator with clients and staff alike,

- values integrity and honesty and practices good medicine,

-will share their learnings and knowledge with us,

-surgery is not a requirement but it would be an asset.

Generous compensation ($100K-$130K depending on experience), medical/dental/vision insurance, AFLAC supplemental insurance, plenty of vacation time, generous continuing education, state/DEA licenses,  and relocation allowance.
