Small Animal Associate Veterinarian

Smithfield Animal Hospital is looking to add an enthusiastic veterinarian to our team. We are looking for compassionate doctors of all experience levels from new grad to seasoned vet. Our professional team will ensure you are successful, and there are mentorship opportunities available for new graduates still looking to gain confidence. We have part-time and full-time positions available.

Our recently updated facility enables you to provide the best quality care to your patients with digital radiology, brand new ultrasound machine, dental x ray and dental machine, therapeutic laser, a full set of in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment and a fully outfitted surgical suite.  There are no overnight or holiday shifts or on-call hours as we have a great relationship with the local 24 hour care facilities.  This means you are free to accept those challenging and interesting cases, but we also have excellent places to refer. Our primary concern is making sure our staff have a healthy work/life balance and excellent opportunities to hone their skills.

We offer a competitive compensation based on experience.  Average 25 hours a week for part time, 35 - 40 hours a week for full time.  Full time benefits include medical health insurance, malpractice insurance, vacation, CE, and Licensing fees.
