Our 6-doctor small animal practice has been in business for over 30 years. We focus on wellness and preventative care for canine and feline patients and also see a smattering of pocket pets. In addition, CAH offers general surgery, dentistry and oral surgery, orthopedic surgery, ultrasound, reproductive services, laser therapy and more. Our team is Fear-Free certified and is  dedicated to providing the least-stressful medical care possible to our patients.  Our clients hail from communities as far as an hour or more away, and our great reviews attest to the care and dedication with which we approach veterinary medicine.

Centre Animal Hospital is located in the university town of State College, home to Penn State (“WE ARE!”) and offers numerous cultural and sporting events, as well as opportunities for hiking, cycling, trail running, riding, skiing, golf, fishing, camping and much more. You will love our “Happy Valley,” nestled in Centre County, right in the middle of the Pennsylvania Mountains. The public school district is among the top rated in PA. Our ideal candidate has experience, but personable new grads are invited to apply. We offer strong mentorship opportunities as desired. We’re especially interested in vets with an interest in pocket pets and any of our specialties. Hours include some evenings until 7 and occasional Saturdays 8:30-noon; however we try to respect our doctors’ work-life balance: no emergency or on-call duty is required. We are supported by a local veterinary ER in our off hours.
