Small Animal Veterinarian

We are looking for an energetic and competent full or part-time veterinarian.

Switzerland Animal Hospital is a full service, privately owned, small animal hospital. We are located on the Scenic Bartram Trail in one of the most beautiful and fast-growing waterfront communities in NE Florida. St John’s County is known for its pristine beaches and exceptional school system.

We are fortunate to have a very dedicated and competent staff. Our clientele is educated, loyal and compliant. Many of them have been with us for over 30 years.

Our focus is on high-quality medicine and customer service, excellent communication, and continued mentoring with a team approach. We offer LigaSure, CO2 and therapy laser, Brymill Cryogenic System, GE logiq ultrasound as well as standard and dental digital radiography.

We have access to numerous local CE programs and have an excellent working relationship with our surrounding colleagues. This includes various specialty hospitals and emergency care facilities to which we refer our after hour cases.

The base salary for the full-time position pays between 85K and 130K plus ProSal bonus. Other benefits include CE and healthcare allowance, paid professional dues and licensing, vacation, paid holidays, and 401K. We also offer a signing and retention bonus of $50,000.

A minimum of 2 years experience in a small animal setting or a rotating internship is preferred. If you are a dynamic and passionate new graduate, you are encouraged to apply.  Interest in surgery and dentistry is desired.

We are in the final design stages for a new 7,200sq ft AAHA facility.
