Associate Veterinarian, full-time or part-time, wanted for busy established small animal practice in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Friendly, growing town.   About an hour to the White Mountains, the Seacoast, and Boston. Full 400 sq foot well stocked fitness center on premises.

Full time benefits include a 4 day work week, health insurance, paid licensure fees, paid vacation, a continuing education stipend, and an opportunity to make extra money covering emergencies IF YOU WANT TO.  We do have several excellent emergency clinics in the area, so your off-time is your own. There is the potential to bring a vet tech along to join the practice. 

Experienced, compassionate staff. We’re truly a family, having all worked together for at least ten years. The clinic is homey but up-to-date, and our services include orthopedic surgery, endoscopy, in house chemistry, digital radiography, donated work to the local shelter and the police dog program, a TNR program, and a low-cost spay neuter program. Dr. Taylor is the veterinary adviser to the NH Animal Rights League.

We are a cruelty free practice – no declaws, tails/ears, cosmetic surgery of any type. We do not treat exotic “pets”.   We require spay/neuter.  Euthanasia is offered to end suffering only, and is not available "on demand".  We will NEVER ask you to work outside of your comfort zone.  

We do NOT work with breeders. Ever.

Full time?  Your work week will be Monday-Thursday, roughly 8 hours a day.  Part time?  We will work around your schedule if you have kids at home or just don't want to do the 9 to 5 thing.  Emergency coverage is available locally, but IF YOU DESIRE you can cover some emergencies for additional compensation.
