Mixed or Small Animal Practice.   Our practice is different than most practices!  We approach cases as a team, we work well together, treat each other with respect and love our jobs!  We strive to provide the best quality medicine and surgery we can, but we also value work/life balance. Our staff is the key-they are a group of positive-minded people, many of whom have worked on our team for many years.   This is not an accident.  We started hiring for attitude many years ago.  Our practice culture has to be seen in action to be believed!  We have a long list of state of the art equipment for you to use, as well as a Stonewell equipped truck if you are doing mixed animal work.  You get to work as a Doctor-our technicians are there to assist you so you can do what you were meant to be-a doctor of pets! Whether you are in the hospital or on a farm call you have a technician working beside you.  We are AAHA certified and practice Fear-Free methods of handling.  You are welcome to speak with any of our associates or other teammates.  They will confirm that our hospital is a wonderful rarity.  Located on Florida's west coast 90 minutes from Gainesville, Orlando & Tampa. Our county offers many recreational activities, good schools, low crime and great quality of life; biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, golf and more. 92% small animal/8% equine with some exotics, goats and pot bellied pigs and are open to new interests.   We are very comfortable mentoring.    We look forward to meeting you-you won't find a better team to work with!  Life is too short to work in a job/environment you don't enjoy!  We will provide lodging while you are here for your externship.
