Our shelter medical team is expanding! Pima Animal Care Center is a nationally-recognized, open admission shelter in Tucson, AZ. Our Save Rate exceeds 92%. DVM colleagues share a diverse caseload of internal medicine, emergency trauma, infectious disease, cruelty investigation. In addition to HQHVSN, we perform lots of soft tissue surgery, dentals, orthopedics. The PACC medical team is growing to 5 FT vets (will be 6 in 2023), 23 vet techs, 3 supervisors, medical foster staff, and dozens of dedicated volunteers and vet students. Our team is particularly adept at supporting new grads through our busy caseload of emergencies and surgery. PACC’s $22M facility was completed in 2019.
