Animal Ark Pet Hospital is an independent practice with 9 doctors and 2 full-service hospitals in Erie, PA.  

What’s good about a larger practice?

• We have more flexibility in scheduling and time off
• You’ll always have other doctors on-site with you for real-time collaboration and mentoring 
• Our large and varied caseload provides ample experience right away
• If you would like to enhance your expertise in a particular area of medicine, we have the staff, equipment, and facilities to make that happen

What’s good about an independently-owned practice?

• You’ll have freedom to make individual decisions for individual patients, without having to follow “cookbook” protocols 
• You won’t be under outside pressure to meet unrealistic financial goals
• We love new and fresh ideas for improvement, and you can bring your insights directly to the managers and owners
• We don’t have a rigid corporate structure, so you can advance at whatever pace works for you

What’s good about Erie?

• It’s a historic mid-size city with plenty of available activities (theatre, museums, sports, arts)
• Our cost of living is reasonable, and it’s easy to get around
• We have outdoor activities for every season(boating, fishing, skiing, hiking, biking, golfing, you name it!), with a Great Lake at your doorstep
• We are an easy drive of 2 hours or less from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Buffalo, with all of the activities they offer
