Who are we looking for?
Seeking a compassionate mixed-animal veterinarian, ready to meet new clients and work up cases. This role is flexible and can be tailored to fit career aspirations depending on candidate’s specific passion. This position requires a typical 40-hour work week and large animal emergency-only. Our after-hours or “on-call” for this practice is minimal, shared between 3 veterinarians, and averages 14 emergency calls per doctor per year. All experience levels encouraged to apply!

Abilene Animal Hospital (AAH) is located in Abilene, KS and recognized for its mentorship opportunities. AAH currently boasts an 8-doctor practice (three swine, three small-animal and two mixed-animal veterinarians) plus a fantastic team of experienced support staff. Our motto: provide efficient, high quality veterinary care, continually surpass our clients’ expectations of service, and communicate as a team to complete our vision.
Our practice houses digital radiology, ultrasound, laser, rigid and flexible endoscopy, in-house lab, and separate surgery and dental suites with advanced surgical and dental equipment.
