Welcome to the Live Music Capital of the World. A progressive small animal practice with a heavy emphasis on exotics is offering a full time DVM the opportunity to live in Austin, Texas. We are looking to fill this position due to the retirement of an associate. Our practice has been here for 29 years. We work with 25% exotics, including but not limited to backyard poultry, reptiles, amphibian, potbelly pigs and 75% is dogs and cats. We are willing to mentor a candidate interested in broadening their skills with exotics. We pride ourselves on being a high-quality, diagnostic practice. An interest in ultrasonography would be highly desirable as well. We are committed to having a well-trained support staff to ensure that our doctors are able to focus on medicine and surgery and to keep the day running smoothly. The position is a full-time position, with flexible hours during the week to give plenty of time off to enjoy the lifestyle that Austin offers. There are exciting expansion plans in place for the practice. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including state license, DEA, generous PTO and liability insurance.
