Associate Veterinarian Wanted

Looking for a practice where you can connect with your clients, have fun with your co-workers, and enjoy a wonderful home/work balance?  Powder Mill Animal Hospital is a fast-growing small animal practice based in Acton, MA.  We are looking to add a doctor who believes in high quality medicine, gentle patient handling, and strong client communication to grow our team to keep up with demand.

The Company: Powder Mill Animal Hospital was established in 2017 and is a beautiful, well-equipped hospital in a fantastic setting. We are currently a two-doctor practice with efficient, friendly technicians. Our staff is tight-knit, very family-friendly, and cohesive. We pride ourselves on the great care we take with clients and employees alike. Our client’s are so friendly and supportive of the hospital. 

• Our hospital provides high-quality general practice care with the emphasis on communication and client relations.
• We are a paperless hospital with cloud-based practice software. The hospital uses Apple computers.
• The hospital boasts digital radiology, digital dental radiology, and large spacious exam rooms with separate cat and dog areas.
• We believe in going above and beyond client expectations and fostering a relaxed, friendly environment.

The Position: We’re looking for a part-time or full-time Associate to join our team.

Requirements:

• 1+ years in private practice as an Associate
• Friendly, out-going demeanor with great case management skills
• Strong medical and surgery skills preferred
• Comfort with a computer-based hospital system without utilizing paper
• Confidence with Mac computers and web-based software
• Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule (Sat/Sun 8-12pm)
