Companion Animal Hospital Mount Prospect, located in Mount Prospect, IL, is looking for a part-time or full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team! We are proud to be AAHA accredited. New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply and would have a dedicated mentor, our medical director, Dr. Erin Walsh.
About our clinic: Companion Animal Hospital Mount Prospect is a full-service small animal general practice. Our hospital is fully equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, Fecalizer, and SediVue. All exam rooms have their own laptop containing our electronic medical record software, Impromed, and radiography software.
We perform a large variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries, so any candidates with an interest in surgery would have their own surgery day and mentorship in surgery, if needed. Dr. Scott Petereit performs the lateral suture procedure and would be happy to mentor any doctor interested in learning this procedure.
Our doctors work a 3 ½ day work week and rotate Saturdays, which allows for a great work/life balance and time to explore the amazing area! We are close to multiple specialty and referral centers, so no after hours or on-call shifts are required. Our team also enjoys spending time together outside the hospital and we have several large get togethers each year, including holiday parties and ghost tours of Chicago!
