About Us
Animal ER is a privately owned overnight companion animal emergency clinic that provides comprehensive pet healthcare services. We are 24hrs Saturday and Sunday and 5pm-8am Monday through Friday. Our goal is to serve as an extension of the RDVM’s in our area by being available when they are not. We pride ourselves on providing the best patient care, offering a wide variety of medical and surgical services, and excellent communication with our fellow RDVM’s. Our hospital has advanced equipment and technologies, including in-house laboratory, a new digital DR x-ray, and a fully equipped surgical suite. To support our doctors, we have a team of veterinary professionals and a strong leadership team to help deliver the best care to each pet and pet owner!
As a Medical Director, you will receive additional compensation attributed to your role as a leader on our team!

To be Successful with us, a Candidate should have the following:
- 4+ years of small animal veterinary experience, emergency experience is a bonus
- A DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school in general practice
- An active, non-restricted state veterinary license
- Be invested in building trusting relationships with clients, colleagues, and the local community
- The desire and capacity to mentor the veterinary team
- Willingness to lead the veterinary team in an effort to help each individual grow, excel and achieve fulfillment in the veterinary profession
- Pride in offering unmatched attentive care, ensuring our communication with our clients is clear and understood
- Strong proficiency in soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine
