Huntingdon Animal Clinic is a 4 doctor private practice established in 1949. We are a high volume mixed animal practice (70% small, 30% large) in rural West TN about 30 miles northeast of Jackson, TN.
Our office hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, 8am-12pm Saturday, and closed Sunday. We are closed on major holidays.
Our services include general medicine, preventive care, general surgery, dentistry, and boarding, just to name a few. We offer in-house diagnostics with IDEXX equipment and use the DVM manager computer platform. We also have in-house imaging including ultrasound and digital radiography.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and a bonus will be given monthly based on ER visits. Health insurance will be provided (currently BCBS through clinic or will give allowance to keep your current provider). Clinic will pay for two professional organization fees annually and provide compensation for CE each year.
Selected candidate may EITHER:
1. Work a four day week and every other Saturday. On call one night each week and on call every 4th weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
OR
2. Work extended office hours Monday-Friday, seeing scheduled yearly exams as well as some walk in sick or emergency cases.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable treating both large and small animals and be able to multi-task.
