Come join our relaxed and amazing spa like practice with the best and the most supportive team ever. We are a 7 doctor stand alone rehab practice made up of veterinarians and physical therapists. Our practice has grown greatly and we are in need of another certified rehab veterinarian to join our team. It really is one of the happiest places to work, with a lot of collaboration and team decision making. Every team member is empowered and has a say in the growth and direction of our practice.
Our practice has an emphasis on thorough training and continuing education. We do weekly team rounds and biweekly learning rounds. We provide additional services such as blood work, medications, radiographs, and diagnostic ultrasound. We perform a lot of orthotics, prosthetics, and wheelchair fittings. Our practice is very calm and peaceful. We emphasize quality of medicine and not quantity so you will see each doctor sees about 6-9 patients a day. Our day ends feeling good about the quality time and care we are able to give to each patient.
We hire based on personality. It's the most important aspect of any hire we make and the reason why we have no turn over at our practice. So a compassionate, friendly person with a team focused work ethic is a must. Great communication skills are needed. The rest, including the medicine, we can train :)
This job position would entail performing initial evaluations and treating patients. Therapies we offer include exercises, hydrotherapy, laser, ultrasound, electrotherapy, shockwave, acupuncture, massage, stretches, mobilizations, and regenerative medicine.
We like to ensure that whoever we hire it is the best fit for both parties. So we do require spending some time at our practice to get a feel for how we operate and give the candidate an opportunity to ask team members any questions.
We offer many benefits including PTO, health and dental insurance, IRA, moving expenses, continuing education, short term disability, and reduced pet supplies/medications/food.
