Live Oak Veterinary Hospital is offering a full-time position for a motivated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian. Practice Owner, Dr. Mitch Luce is looking to hire and mentor a DVM graduate with potential for growth and possible interest in future partnership. Annual salary commensurate with experience and production, includes a guaranteed monthly minimum, utilizing the ProSal model. We are a progressive, full-service hospital specializing in small animal care, utilizing state of the art Digital Radiology, Ultrasound and Electronic Medical Records. Our services include Wellness Care, Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Surgery, Chemotherapy, and Emergency Services. Our growing practice is AAHA accredited and has a dedicated clientele with excellent support staff. Duties include: providing outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients; performing high quality wellness care; diagnosing illness utilizing digital radiology, ultrasound and lab work; compassionately treating patients by prescribing medication, giving fluid therapy, performing surgery, providing dental care and end of life services; maintaining complete and accurate medical records; working well and respectfully with support staff. This full-time position entails working four, ten hour shifts per week and rotating emergency call equally among doctors.
