BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospitals are seeking full time and/or part time Emergency Clinicians to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. We are looking to add to our current Emergency Departments due to the high caseload and growth of the service. We have highly skilled and dedicated technicians that are eager to support our emergency department to help them grow. 

Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center South (PVSEC South Hills), a BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital located in Washington, PA, is a comprehensive multi-specialty and referral hospital in Western Pennsylvania. This 13,500 square-foot state-of-the-art facility was built and opened in 2017 and offers a variety of services, including after-hours emergency medicine on evenings and weekends, and specialists in critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, radiology and surgery. We also work closely in a collaborative partnership with the PVSEC North Hills hospital.  

This location houses a number of advanced treatment and diagnostic services, including a 64-slice CT, 2 ultrasound machines, video endoscopy, digital radiography and dedicated suites for endoscopy and ultrasound. Services such as a blood bank, comprehensive in-house laboratory and on-site social workers also support our hospital teams, clients and patients. ? 

Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center North (PVSEC North), a BluePearl Veterinary Partners hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, is located in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and is the most comprehensive multi-specialty and referral hospital in Western Pennsylvania.   We have a house officer program consisting of rotating interns, emergency and critical care residents, and surgical interns and residents, which leads to a very collegial and team approach to patient care.   

It’s a fast-paced environment with growth and advancement opportunities, which not only promotes outstanding patient care but also learning and growing with training programs through BluePearl University and BluePearl Science. PVSEC also partners with Penn Foster for associates to continue their Veterinary Technician education and licensing, as well as an onsite veterinary social worker to support our associates and clients. 

This location houses a number of advanced treatment and diagnostic services, including a 64-slice CT, 1.5T MRI, Linear Accelerator, 2 ultrasound machines, video endoscopy, digital radiography, ventilators and dedicated suites for endoscopy and ultrasound. Services such as a blood bank, comprehensive in-house laboratory with commercial level equipment and on-site social workers also support our hospital teams, clients and patients. The ER doctor will spend most of their shifts working in the North Hills hospital but could occasionally cover the South hills shifts as well.   This can also be flexible and negotiable.
