Animal Hospital of Pitt County was established over 30 years ago by Dr. Michael House. Dr. House was a local hometown veterinarian known and respected by many. Dr. House unexpectedly passed away in 2010.
Ownership of Animal Hospital of Pitt County transferred on October 26th 2012. The current owners are Anne Eldridge DVM, Mark Hayes, DVM and Brad Medhus, DVM. They also own and operate Tenth Street Animal Hospital, Firetower Animal Clinic and Four Paws Inn.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of NC
- Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
- The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
- Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
- Compassionate team player who can uphold great reputation with clients
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
- Proficiency in surgery a plus
