The PAWS Practice Manager transmits the Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Goals of Premier Animal Wellness and Surgery to the doctors and team, utilizing healthy communication, excellent organization, time management, and growth-oriented leadership skills to create an amazing workplace. We want to be the ‘Unicorn’ clinic that attracts and supports extraordinary team members and provides an environment in which to thrive, both personally and professionally.
As manager, you will oversee and coordinate daily operations; consult with CFO regarding staff and inventory budgets; hire staff and oversee their training, evaluation, advancement, scheduling, conflict resolution, and separation; direct and support doctors and staff regarding client communications and complaints; coordinate clinic, doctor, and team schedules; oversee cleaning and maintenance of the premises, electronics, and medical equipment; coordinate with doctors and staff to generate proven processes for patient care and client communication; consistently monitor benchmarks for compliance with our ‘gold standard’ medicine.
The Practice Manager gives accurate, pertinent, timely, professional feedback to the Practice Owner/CFO regarding staff and practice needs while ensuring smooth implementation of required changes. The Practice Manager audits inventory counts, client accounts, controlled drugs, and timesheets and is proactive in protecting the business from OSHA, workers’ compensation, EPLI and other regulatory infractions.

Our practice manager position is highly focused on daily operations, allowing the owner/CFO to manage financial reporting, payables, long-term planning, and accounting. Requirements:
Prior experience managing a veterinary practice or managing a significant section of a larger hospital, including HR and staffing duties, coordinating doctor/staff communication and schedules, operations flow, managing inventory budgets, giving crucial feedback to doctors and team members while fostering a healthy work environment.
