Park County Animal Hospital is looking for a part-time or full-time veterinarian to join our growing practice. Our mission is to “provide compassionate, respectful, and quality veterinary care to all patients and their families.” It is our honor to serve this wonderful county and bring all the best that our profession has to offer to Park County and the surrounding areas.
Our hospital offers:
Full-service small-animal veterinary medicine
Full Idexx in-house lab (Procyte, Catalyst, Snapshot)
DR radiography (Cuattro DR system)
Digital dental radiography (performed on all dental cases)
GE Ultrasound
Electronic medical records (Cornerstone)
Attached boarding facility
We are located in the high elevation plateau known as “South Park”. We are surrounded by the gorgeous Front Range to the east, and to the west the Mosquito Range is our backyard. We enjoy easy access to all outdoor activities and the Colorado lifestyle. We are a short 30-minute drive to the ski slopes at Breckenridge, and our own backyard is a playground for both winter and summertime adventure. We also remain close to big city amenities with Denver just a 90 minute drive away. An average of a 3 to 4 day work week with no emergency call allows you the perfect work-life balance to enjoy the Colorado mountains. We are a small-town practice that offers all of the advanced care our clients have come to expect but enjoy the special relationship that comes with really getting to know most of our clients and pets. We strive to take a practical approach to medicine, and we have clients that trust and respect our recommendations and treatment plans.
We are looking for a person who is compassionate and enthusiastic about veterinary medicine, has a team focused approach, strong organizational and leadership skills, and is looking to help continue growing our practice. Strong surgical and dental skills or a willingness to learn both are a must. While experience is preferred, we will provide rigorous mentorship and ongoing access to comprehensive CE for the right candidate. Our scheduling is very flexible with options from 3 days on and 3 off up to a week on with a following week off. We can usually accommodate almost all reasonable requests off!
We offer a generous compensation package including:
Pro-Sal compensation with $115,000 base salary (expected salary range 115,000-130,000)
Retirement plan
Paid-time-off
CE allowance
Professional liability insurance
Dues/membership allowances
DEA license
Average of a 3-4 day work week with no after-hours emergency call
Season Ski Pass!
Potential for Relocation Reimbursement or Sign-On Bonus
