Associate Veterinarian needed for either part time or full time practice near Kentucky Lake.
Although we offer a small amount of mixed animal practice, Its not a requirment for associate to do so. If associate desires to do mixed animal, there is an unlimited possiblity to build that business here. I practice alone, so I am limited to what I can see. If desired, associate can work only a few days a week, or can work full time. Emergencies are also optional. We are covered by an emergency clinic, but we pay well for any emergencies if an associate wants to do them. There is no "on call" scheldule. Our clinic is fully equipped with IDEXX station, Digital Radiology, full dental capabilities. We offer a full range of orthopedic and soft tissue surgical opportunities. We have one licensed tech on staff and 2 experienced non licensed techs as well. The town is a moderate sized city with a court square, fall time carnivals, and safe schools. The clinic culture is tight knit, small group of girls that love their jobs.
Job description includes: Seeing, diagnosing, and treating patients, routine surgeries, and prevenative medicine.
Owner is approaching the age for an exit stragety. Very flexible about buy in options. If you want to own your own practice, but can't go borrow 1 million dollars this would be worth checking out. Although we do over $700,000 with one doctor, we still can all enjoy our hobbies, and our families. I am willing to do some creative options with affordable buy in opportunities after a few months to a year. It needs to be a great fit. I am happy for an associate, even if a future buy out/in isn't desired.

Associate Veterinarian needed part time of full time for small animal practice near Kentucky Lake. Ideally, someone who would want to buy the business in time. Owner has flexible terms of purchase that would make it easy to do so. The practice is in Camden, Tennessee. Great staff, licensed tech, IDEXX equipment, Digital radiology, Full dental and orthopedic capibilities. If interested, there are lots of large animal opportunities. We haven't pursued them due to only having one veterinarian. Boarding facilities, 3 exam rooms, ICU and isolation.
We are about 10 minutes from Kentucky Lake and the Duck refuge. Land between the Lakes State Park is just 1/2 hour away. Camping, hiking, fishing, and all other possible outdoor activities. Safe schools, and a slower life pace might just make you love these people the way we do. You can work 2 or 3 days a week, or you can work 5/1/2 days... its totally up to you. Veterinary Emergency work is also optional. We have an after hours clinic close, but clinic pays 100% of all emergency fees to the veterinarian. CE and vacation time paid.
Best part is that if you want to ever be a practice owner, but have school loans or don't think you can borrow 3/4 to 1 million dollars... wew can work something out.
