What We Offer:

Flexible Schedule: NORMAL HOURS, NO WEEKENDS. Craft the perfect part-time schedule that suits your lifestyle. For full time, choose a four or five day workweek. Our clinics are open Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends required. We occasionally hold optional community vaccine clinics on Saturdays.

Cutting-Edge Facilities: We are not your typical non-profit shelter. We are 4 fully equipped hospitals utilizing the latest technology and equipment, including digital radiography, ultrasound, a fully equipped in-house diagnostic lab, dental and surgery suite, and more. We empower you with the tools you need to provide the best care. Our well-stocked in-house pharmacy also ensures efficient patient care.

About Second Chance Animal Services

Second Chance Animal Services is a nonprofit animal welfare organization founded in 1999. Second Chance began as an animal shelter and grew to help more pets in need. Today SCAS operates four Community Veterinary Hospitals in North Brookfield, Springfield, Southbridge, and Worcester providing access to the highest-quality veterinary care for all. Subsidized rates are provided to underserved communities to ensure care is available to all pets in need. Second Chance helps over 44,000 pets a year through full-service veterinary care, spay/neuter services, adoption services, community & educational outreach programs, training, and a pet food pantry.
