Externship - Hospital and Ambulatory
We are always excited to be involved with future members of our field and to help student veterinarians continue to evolve and gain knowledge and experience. Kentucky Equine Athlete Hospital is a full-service surgical and ambulatory hospital located outside of Louisville, KY. KEH has 7 full time veterinarians and 1 part time- with two DACVS and two ACVSMR diplomats. Dr. Wes Sutter, DACVS/DACVSMR has an active orthopedic and soft tissue surgical case load with 2-3 surgical days scheduled per week with the rest of his time spent on sport medicine/lameness cases. We offer a full range of lameness diagnostic services including advanced imaging services with MRI, Nuclear scintigraphy, and PET Scan.
