Earlysville Animal Hospital in Earlysville, Virginia is looking for a full-time or part-time veterinarian to join our 6-doctor practice! We are a full-service companion animal practice that provides excellent service to canines, felines, and pocket pets. Our practice has been providing care to pets in our community for 42 years!

Our recently renovated facility offers acupuncture, ultrasound, a surgical laser and a therapeutic laser, digital radiographs, and 6 exam rooms.
Our staff includes three licensed veterinary technicians and five assistants who offer 20-31 years of experience to support our veterinarians.
We have been an AAHA-accredited practice for 35+ years and we are Fear Free Certified and Feline Friendly!
Our close-knit team enjoys activities like cookie decorating parties, birthday parties, tie-dye parties, and team-building activities at the end of meetings. We also have an annual Christmas party, fun Halloween activities, and appreciation weeks every quarter. Check us out here.
We have a 2 technician to DVM ratio and our team includes 3 LVTs.
We work closely with our local community animal shelter, Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA, to provide support to animals in need.
Associate Veterinarian role:
New graduates or experienced doctors are welcome to apply!
We offer a mentorship program to new grads and growth opportunities for all our doctors.
Our doctors have a flexible schedule including the option to alternate 34-40 hours/week and 2 (half day) Saturdays per month.
We do not have any after-hours or on-call requirements.
An interest in surgery is a must! We perform spay, neuter, dentals with extractions, mass removals, and more. Our experienced Chief of Staff is happy to mentor in surgery and our doctors have two surgery days per week.
An interest in dentistry is a plus and we can offer mentorship in this area, as well!

Earlysville VA is nestled in the outskirts of Charlottesville VA, which is home to the University of Virginia. If you enjoy the city, we are 2 hours from Washington DC and 5 minutes from the CHOA Airport.
