Palo Duro Animal Hospital is eager to welcome an Associate DVM to our small animal practice. We’re located in Canyon, Texas, just south of Amarillo and home to Palo Duro Canyon State Park.
Experience and scheduling:
This is a full-time role with flexible Monday-Friday scheduling (8- or 10-hour shifts). We’re open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including recent graduates. Must be licensed (or able to become licensed) in Texas for consideration.
This is an excellent opportunity for a small animal veterinarian who prioritizes preventative health and is confident performing wellness exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. As an Associate DVM, you’ll collaborate with our 3 doctors and long-term support staff team. Our veterinarians have a range of experience and special interests in dermatology, surgery, client education, and more. Outside of work, our DVM team is involved with the Hope Lives Here organization, which connects rescued dogs with veterans, as well as animal cruelty prevention organizations and rescue groups.
