Calvert Animal Hospital, the first veterinary hospital in Calvert County, is looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our growing team! We are a full-service companion animal practice that provides excellent service to canines, felines, pocket pets, non-venomous snakes, bearded dragons, and chameleons. Our dedicated team of doctors and support staff have been providing care to pets in our community for 47 years!

Our modern facility offers a digital X-ray and a companion therapy laser.
We see 90% small animals and 10% exotic/pocket pets.
Our experienced support staff includes a surgical technician who has been with us since 1976, 2 soon-to-be licensed veterinary technicians, and 2 veterinary technicians who are enrolled in vet school.
We are a partner with the Puppy Paws, Humane Way, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and SPOT.

We offer a mentorship program to new grads and growth opportunities for all our doctors.
Our doctors have flexible scheduling options that include 4 days/week and rotating Saturdays.
We do not have any after-hours or on-call requirements.
An interest in surgery is a plus! We are willing to mentor a new graduate in surgery.
We have 3 exam rooms, and our tech-to-doctor ratio is 2:1.
Interest in exotics is a plus but not a requirement!
