We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care and welfare, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues. This role requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and staff, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality veterinary services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions.
Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed.
Perform surgical procedures with precision and care.
Provide guidance on pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures to pet owners.
Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Handle animals safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments.
REQUIREMENTS
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of employment.
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, husbandry, and care practices.
Experience with animal handling techniques, including dog and cat handling.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
A commitment to ongoing professional development in veterinary medicine.
Spanish language fluency is desired but not required.
OFFERED SALARY & OTHER COMPENSATIONS:
Based on your experience and performance records, we offer a very attractive compensation package, including a yearly salary of $120,000 to $150,000 plus bonuses earned based on the clinic’s overall production. We also offer allowances for CE hours.

The two Pet Life Veterinary Clinics are AAHA accredited and we provide service to the Glendale, Sun City, Surprise, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley areas. We are a 1 doctor per clinic practice but are growing rapidly.
