Four Seasons Animal Hospital is excited to welcome clinical-year DVM students seeking externship opportunities! We can accommodate two and four-week arrangements, plus we offer a $750/week stipend to offset travel expenses. We are conveniently located 45 minutes away from downtown Chicago, and are a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan, which gives us the benefits of being near a large city without the hassles.
A clinical externship with us involves working alongside our experienced Medical Director. You'll have the ability to:
Collaborate with our awesome team (this is worth clicking, we promise!)
Utilize Fear Free practices while refining your animal restraint and technical skills
Observe and participate in routine and emergency examinations, diagnostic interpretations, and surgical and dental procedures
