Associate veterinarian position available at Broward Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital, a private avian and exotics exclusive practice. Salary commensurate with experience. Intensive mentoring available. Currently a two-doctor practice looking to expand to 4. We have recently moved into a new facility that is 8,000 sq ft. Clinic amenities include in-house lab, digital radiography, mobile CT unit readily available, endoscopy, ultrasound and a  hyperbaric oxygen unit.  We are very excited about adding this new therapy to our armory. Publication and board certification are encouraged. Many have worked here as a stepping stone to go on to zoo, avian and wildlife residencies.

We have an extraordinary staff and a clientele that expects top notch care for their avian and exotic companions. They are very well aware of the value of annual wellness exams, husbandry changes and appropriate work ups. We see birds, exotic companion mammals, primates, fish, poultry, waterfowl,  reptiles and invertebrates.
