As the Medical Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and developing the surgical and medical direction of the practice. You will supervise surgical and medical cases, ensuring standards of care are followed and maintain clear communication with clients. Being actively involved in the recruitment and interview process for both doctors and support staff is essential, as well as working closely with the Hospital Manager to develop staff training programs and tracking CE opportunities. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring doctor performance and production. Additionally, you will ensure a high quality of care is followed. Finally, you will mentor and provide support to associate veterinarians, including those who are newly graduated, ensuring a supportive and educational environment for all team members.
