Minimum Required

• Doctor of Veterinary  Medicine Degree from AVMA accredited University
• Active California Veterinary License in good standing
• Willingness to become HAB Certified, Fear Free Certified 

Preferred:

• 1 or more years clinical experience

About Cat Tales Feline Health Center

Cat Tales will be the premier feline health center in Davis, CA. Opening Fall 2024, Cat Tales is independently owned by two seasoned veterinarians — Julie Cole Shacoski and Chris “Shac” Shacoski. The practice will be unique in that it will provide more than clinical care for cats: our goal is to help cats flourish. We will have leisurely appointments to allow time to build a relationship with each cat and the people they own. This will allow us time for listening, for full examinations, and for discussion of personalized care plans that will address health care needs and the lifestyle options to enable each unique cat to be healthy, calm, comfortable and at peace. Cat Tales will have a cat lounge where all are welcome to visit with feline adoptees and enjoy a purrfect break. We plan to work with local rescues to — via the lounge — support and encourage feline fans to find their next family member. We also plan to offer grooming and medical boarding for existing clients.
