Responsibilities:- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures in a way that supports the practice's mission statement- Communicate with clients and team members in a professional and friendly manner- Maintain accurate medical records- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the best possible care for our patients- Provide guidance and mentorship to veterinary assistants

Requirements:- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university- Active veterinary license in Virginia- DEA license (or ability to obtain one)- Strong communication skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Willingness to learn new techniques and procedures

Full time Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with one day off during the week and every other Saturday

Elpaw Veterinary Clinic is a small animal veterinary clinic that has been serving Alexandria, VA since 1947. We have been AAHA accredited since 1976. We moved to a new location at the beginning of 2022 just down the street from the old. We have kept all our old clients but with a brand new modern facility. Under the leadership of Nadia Yungk, DVM, our mission is to provide the highest quality medicine to our clients. Our goal is to get to know our clients and provide individualized care to each patient.
