Somers Animal Hospital is highly respected in the veterinary community. We are proud of our culture where doctors and technical staff work well with our front staff and management team. We truly believe having a practice where people enjoy coming to work and working together is a key part of providing the best care for our patients.
Practice spotlights:
Orthopedic surgeries: These are done on site with a board certified surgeon who is highly skilled in arthroscopy. Having our consulting surgeon working in conjunction with our physical rehabilitation team means we can see better outcomes after surgery and have more tools at our disposal for non-surgical cases.
Oncology: Having a skilled team means we can properly diagnose, evaluate, and stage cancer. We then work closely with our local oncologist. Seeing these pets back for all the follow-up and re-staging means better continuity, communication, and ultimately superior care.
Cardiology: A cardiologist comes to our practice Mondays to perform our echocardiograms.
