Join our team as a Wildlife Veterinarian Resident in the beautiful paradise of Playa Grande, Costa Rica. At our rescue center, you will play a crucial role in providing injured wildlife with a second chance at life. Our ideal candidate is passionate about wildlife and dedicated to making a positive impact in the world. As part of our team, you will have access to a wide range of diagnostic equipment, medications, and specialized formulas to ensure the best care for our animal patients. This position is not for the faint of heart and may require night shifts for orphan care, emergency on-call duties, and the ability to perform rescues.

The hours may be long, but the rewards of saving lives and rehabilitating injured animals are immeasurable. The location is unparalleled, with the center just a short walk away from the beach, providing a soothing environment for both the wildlife and the team members. To qualify for this program, we require a minimum commitment of three months, although shorter terms are available for a conservation fee.

Accommodation includes beautiful tiki-style bungalows within walking distance to the beach. You will have a private room, possibly with a shared bathroom, offering a comfortable and tranquil living space amidst the natural beauty of Playa Grande.
