Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Active veterinary license in the state of Nevada (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination
• DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• USDA accreditation (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)

Clinical Skills & Experience

• Strong foundation in general medicine, surgery, and preventive care
• Ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions in small animals
• Experience with or willingness to learn:
  • Soft tissue surgery
  • Dentistry (including extractions)
  • Diagnostic interpretation (radiographs, bloodwork, cytology)
• Comfortable handling urgent and emergency cases
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, walk-in-based practice

• Excellent communication skills with clients and team members
• Ability to educate clients and confidently present treatment plans
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Commitment to practicing high-quality, gold-standard medicine while adapting to client needs
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and solution-focused attitude

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
• Openness to mentorship (for new graduates) and/or leadership (for experienced doctors)
• Commitment to continued professional development and growth

Preferred (Not Required)

• 1+ years of clinical experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Interest in surgery, dentistry, or emergency medicine
• Experience in high-volume or walk-in clinics
