What You’ll Do • Provide veterinary care to small animals, including wellness exams, vaccines, and sick visits • Conduct examinations, take medical histories, and develop treatment plans • Perform surgeries, administer medications, and provide follow-up/after-care instructions • Deliver care both in-home (mobile) and in-hospital depending on patient needs • Educate clients and provide resources to support long-term pet health • Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive care • Participate in continuing education and stay current with best practices in veterinary medicine
What We’re Looking For • DVM from an accredited institution • Licensed in New Mexico (or willing to obtain NM licensure) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking ability • Comfortable using electronic medical records / practice software
